A Welcome Introduction

Welcome to my Blog on Revit Tips and Support!!

The aim of this blog is to broaden online help and assistance in using Revit and in particular, Revit Structures.

There is a heap of info and tutorials on all things Revit out there already, but in my experience working in the office as a structural draftsman, there just doesn't seem to be a lot of easy to understand and relatable real world info.

For example;

  • Customising Revit to match your office drafting standards.
  • Easy tutorials on family creation, such as annotations and custom beam types.
  • Customising line weights and object styles for a well presented document set.
  • Scheduling.
  • Alternatives to the very popular AutoCAD ISO fonts. (Which Revit does not have)
All of the above are examples of some of the discussions/posts I am hoping to have on my blog.
So please let me know any comments or suggestions you may have and I hope to make the first 'real' post very soon.

Regards,

Justin
