The aim of this blog is to broaden online help and assistance in using Revit and in particular, Revit Structures.
There is a heap of info and tutorials on all things Revit out there already, but in my experience working in the office as a structural draftsman, there just doesn't seem to be a lot of easy to understand and relatable real world info.
For example;
- Customising Revit to match your office drafting standards.
- Easy tutorials on family creation, such as annotations and custom beam types.
- Customising line weights and object styles for a well presented document set.
- Scheduling.
- Alternatives to the very popular AutoCAD ISO fonts. (Which Revit does not have)
All of the above are examples of some of the discussions/posts I am hoping to have on my blog.
So please let me know any comments or suggestions you may have and I hope to make the first 'real' post very soon.
Regards,
Justin
